Let's Get Some Shoes Part 1 of 2

Lately I've been absolutely obsessed with two things: vintage clothing and shoes. It's only natural that I should write a post about, you guessed it, VINTAGE SHOES. Cue the sound of children cheering. Below I have handpicked, or, rather, hand-clicked (LOL PUNS LOL), just for you, dear reader, an array of the best vintage shoes that Etsy, that wondrous online treasure trove, has to offer.

Simple, but unique and undeniably cute. My guess is that they're super comfortable too. But the point here is not to sell you on a million different pairs of vintage shoes... what is the point? Your guess is as good as mine, and mine isn't very good to begin with. BABBLING. MOVING ON.

UHM YES KTHX DO WANT. Just imagine for one second the infinite number of outfits that these shoes would look amazing with. OH NO I ENDED A SENTENCE WITH A PREPOSITION GRAMMAR POLICE ARREST ME WHEN DO I GET MY ONE PHONE CALL OFFICER TOO MUCH CAPSLOCK MOVING ON.

You can all see the amazingness that these shoes are, right? I'm not just imagining it, am I? Because seriously, sirsly, srsly, these are awesome. They're like boots, but not. OMG CRAZYSAUCE.

I'm doing a super good job at being objective and fashion critical (is that a thing people say? I have a feeling it's not). Whatever, we all know this is just an excuse for me to drool over awesome rad awesome cool awesome shoes.

Pretty sure these shoes could kick your a**, regardless if there are any feet in them. Let's do some rad sandals now, just so I can torture myself with the fact that summer break has officially started (AKA, sandal, sundress, and swimsuit season) and I can't afford a single pair of these gorgeous vintage sandals.

I am 95% certain that I could kill a man if it meant I could have these beautiful, in-perfect-condition, 80s sandals, and I would never look back... that's only vaguely troubling.

I love everything about this style of shoe. The open sides, the buckle, the tiny heel that is just enough to make that great clicking sound when you walk, the slightly pointed toe. It is bellissimo (pardon my bad Italian, I should really just stick to English).

MOAR. Man, how could these have ever gone out of style? I mean, LOOK AT THEM. Are you looking? LOOK.

Okay, okay, okay, okay. ONE MORE PAIR of gorgeous T-straps, then we'll move on to some crazy stuff. You wanna see some crazy stuff, right? It'll be craaazy.

Now, the seller describes these as being brown, but let's get serious here, these are orange, and as such, they are at least twice, if not three times, as awesome as they would be if they were brown. I mean, orange sandals people. Orange.

AWESOME. Wait, what? These aren't ~craaazy~ enough for you?

Well how about THESE. No? Still not good enough?

BAM. Pretty sure these are exactly what the pilgrims wore, but only the cool pilgrims.

Aaaaaand I'm gonna stop there, cause that's eleven pairs of shoes and eleven is my favourite number. I gotta cut myself off at some point, otherwise I could seriously just keep going all night. Heck, I could dedicate this ENTIRE BLOG to just drooling over the vintage shoe finds on Etsy. Etsy is a wonderland, and that is my final thought for the evening. Part 2 will be coming in the very near future, considering the fact that my vintage shoe kick (LOL PUNS LOL) is far from over.
